An iteration is defined as “a repetition of a process”. It is also defined as “a specific form of repetition with a mutable state” — meaning that in each repetition, small changes may be made. These changes can either be cumulative, or one-time. This lets us play around a little bit, change the format from time to time, try new things, and abandon whatever doesn't work.

Every Tuesday, drop by and see if there is any special theme or event planned for that week.
Every Wednesday, post a set of twelve things on your blog. It can be a list of books, quotes, photos, news items from your week...anything.
Then come visit this portal and post your link and summary for that week's entry.
Every Thursday, come and view all the posts made the previous day, and head off and visit other people's sites. Chat in the forum. Make connections any way you care to.

Iterations are open every Wednesday through Saturday.

Rattlesnakes, hissing toads, and a dinosaur (sort of): memories of childhood camping trips. Scenery’s nice, but the critters are more memorable.

Just a bit of advance planning for my move to Seattle next spring. (No, it’s not obsessive. Obsessive would be planning two years in advance...not one.)

We’re constantly bombarded with news. So much of it is trivia, that it buries some truly interesting stuff. Read on…

Going with the major disaster theme, I revisited one of my own. I think I would have maimed for bad coffee then!
